A friend of mine whose name is Lisa (the name was changed) came to me one day and said:”I’m the owner of a successful travel agency and there is a constant flow of people. So I don’t need to spend money on anything else because my promotion campaign is over and I’ve achieved my goals.”. So we discussed all her achievements and wished each other the best of luck.
What is the continuation of the story? The following things happened… By the way, I got to know about them from another person because Lisa didn’t want to talk about it anymore.
So, no more money was spent on marketing products. As you know there are different kinds of them starting from automotive promo items to healthcare promotional items. For the first couple of years everything went quite well, people liked their service and she had good profit. But then new enterprises appeared who were very successful in attracting customer’s attention. They organized different promo activities and didn’t try to save money on travelers.
As a result, my friend reduced prices, but there were no new people, and even patrons didn’t come to avail for her services anymore. After that, she decided to fire some of the stuff, which didn’t actually help. And the last thing she did was to have a promo campaign, but it was too late. The dough was over. She couldn’t even take a loan…
To sum everything up, we should understand that promo products is the essential part in every business and we shouldn’t save on them. As for Lisa, now she works as a waitress…
